Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This site is run by LearnFun, PO Box 3027, Santa Monica, CA 90403 ("we"). This policy covers learnfun.org.

What we collect

• Automatically: our hosting servers keep standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and troubleshooting, and delete them after 14 days.
• Analytics: our pages load Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) by default for visitors in the United States and most other countries; you don't have to click anything. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by our measurement ID) to count visits and measure how lesson pages are used (for example, flipping a study card or starting a practice quiz). Google signals and ad personalization are turned off in our analytics. You can opt out; see Your choices.
• Advertising: our pages load Google AdSense, which uses cookies; see Advertising below.

The public study pages have no accounts or signup forms. We do not collect payment details, government IDs, or sensitive personal information on this site.

Advertising

We show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings or through aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Ads are from third parties. We don't endorse the advertisers.

If you opt out below, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we tell Google (through Google Consent Mode) not to use advertising cookies or personalize ads on that browser. Google may still show ads that are not personalized.

Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default, and Google applies its own EU consent rules to ads. Unless you consent, Google Analytics does not set or read analytics cookies on your device, though Google may still receive basic signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed. Google AdSense may still set advertising cookies; to stop them, use Your choices below or turn on Global Privacy Control.

Who processes it

• Service provider: hosting by Amazon Web Services (US West / Oregon, us-west-2), which processes data only to run the site for us.
• Google: Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Google uses the data it collects through ads on this site for its own purposes as well, as described in Google's own policies.

Your choices: Do Not Sell or Share / Opt out of analytics

• Opt out on this site: use the button below. We save your choice in this browser; from then on we do not load Google Analytics, and we ask Google not to use advertising cookies or personalize ads, on this browser. If you clear your browser data, or use another browser or device, opt out there too.
• Global Privacy Control (GPC): we honor it. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and handle it the same way as the button.
• Google's tools: Google's Analytics opt-out add-on blocks Google Analytics on every site; you can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings or through aboutads.info; and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
• California residents may request to know, delete, or correct their personal information, and may opt out of any sale or sharing (the button above and GPC both do this for this browser). Personalized ads can count as "sharing" under California law. You can also email privacy@learnfun.org or write to the PO Box above. We won't discriminate for using these rights.
• Do Not Track: We do not respond to Do Not Track signals, because there is no common standard for them. We do honor Global Privacy Control, as described above.

Children

These study pages are for adult learners (bar exam, real estate licensing, and study skills). They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. We do not run Google Analytics or ads on any page aimed at children under 13.

Changes

We'll post updates here and change the date above.
